From Career to Calling: Answering God's Invitation

I always knew I’d own a business. That’s why I studied business in college. But after graduating and landing a job, I quickly realized something was missing. I wasn’t walking in my purpose.

Then, God called me to shift.

I stepped into education, earned a teaching degree, and poured into students. I loved it. But soon, I felt the nudge again—God was calling me higher. So, I shifted again, becoming a school principal, where I was known for turning struggling schools around. I saw God move in impossible situations, opening doors and transforming lives.

Then came another shift—one I didn’t expect.

I was moved to a high school to help turn it around. I didn’t want to go. My current school was thriving, and yes, there were challenges, but that’s part of leadership. Still, I went. And halfway through the year, I was told I was doing great and could stay if I wanted.

Then, the unexpected happened...The budget was cut, and I was let go. Jobs in education were scarce. The path I had committed my life to seemed to close in front of me.

But this was another faith invitation.

God was calling me out of the system and into something greater. I didn’t feel ready, but faith isn’t about feeling ready—it’s about obedience. I stepped into my assignment: igniting the champion in others.

Now, I help believers make the shift into faith-filled leadership, walking in miracles, power, as they fulfill their God-given purposes and destiny.
